Citadel Contrast Paint – Gryph-Hound Orange (12ml)

Keppet's Tip

Contrast paints took me a little while to get used to. They're not quite like traditional paints, and the way they behave can seem strange at first.

Gryph-Hound Orange is a great example of where they can work really well. Over a suitable light basecoat, you can get colour, shading and definition in one coat, particularly on textured surfaces and smaller details.

Citadel Contrast Paints are water-based acrylic paints designed to provide colour, shading and definition in a single application. They flow into recesses while leaving a stronger colour on raised surfaces, helping you paint miniatures quickly while retaining detail.

Gryph-Hound Orange is supplied in a 12ml flip-top pot and provides a rich orange finish with natural shading.
