Pallid Wych Flesh is one of those paints that's incredibly useful when you want to push a highlight right up without going all the way to pure white. It's a very pale, cool flesh tone that works brilliantly for final highlights on skin, but it's also useful for cloth, bone and other light details.

I particularly like it as a highlight colour over darker flesh tones. Used sparingly on the most raised areas, it can make a model's skin really pop without giving it that stark, pure-white look.

Pallid Wych Flesh is particularly effective as a final highlight. Apply it sparingly to the most prominent areas of the face, hands and muscles, or use it to pick out sharp edges on pale clothing and other details.

For skin, try using it over a mid-tone flesh colour followed by a suitable shade. You don't need much — a few carefully placed highlights can add a surprising amount of definition and bring a miniature to life.
