Barak-Nar Burgundy is a really useful dark purple-red that gives you something a bit different from the usual reds and burgundies. It's particularly good when you want a rich, deep colour that still has enough warmth to stand out once you've added highlights.

I like colours like this for cloth, robes and armour panels, but don't overlook it for smaller details either. It can add a nice bit of variation to an otherwise fairly restrained colour scheme.
