Keppet's View

Drybrushing is one of those techniques that can make a huge difference to your miniatures without requiring hours of careful layering. From bringing out the texture on a rocky base to picking out the edges of power armour, the right brush makes the job much easier.

The Chronicle RPG Techlon Tiger Drybrush Set goes well beyond a couple of basic drybrushes. With 10 drybrushes in different shapes and sizes, plus a detail brush and a larger brush for washes, it's a comprehensive collection for miniature painters who want to experiment with everything from quick tabletop techniques to more controlled finishing work.

Chronicle RPG – Techlon Tiger Drybrush Set (12 Brushes)

Take your miniature painting further with the Chronicle RPG Techlon Tiger Drybrush Set, a versatile 12-brush collection designed for drybrushing, highlighting and other miniature painting techniques.

Made using premium Techlon synthetic fibres, the set combines rounded, flat and angled drybrushes to help you work across different miniature sizes, surfaces and textures. Whether you're painting large armour panels, textured terrain or intricate details, the variety of brushes gives you more control over how you apply paint.

The set is particularly suited to techniques such as Slap Chop and zenithal highlighting, helping you build up light and shadow quickly before applying further colours.

Each brush features a polished white-tone handle, black electroplated ferrule and ebony lettering.

The trick with drybrushing is to remove most of the paint from the brush before applying it to your model. Start with a larger rounded brush for broad surfaces and textures, then move to smaller or angled brushes for more controlled highlights. Experiment with different brush shapes to find the approach that works best for your miniatures.
